Residential Programme 2008

All Green Team weekend projects depart from New Parliament House (5-7 Regent Road, Edinburgh - map) at 9am on Saturday and return at 5pm on Sunday.

Each weekend costs £25 per person, which includes transport, food and accommodation.

How to book ...
1. If you are interested in any of the projects, get in touch to find out if there is a place available. You can email info@greenteam.org.uk or phone 0131 558 9571.
2. Download and print the booking form. The form is available as a Microsoft Word document or as an Abode pdf document.
3. Return the form with your payment.

February 16-17th East Lothian woodlands
Discover Pressmennan and Binning woods and get stuck in building steps, clearing drainage ditches and removing rhododendron.

March 15-16th Lochore Meadows, Fife. Learn the ancient art of coppicing and help make some woodland structures using a variety of hand tools. Woodland tasks with bonfires!

April 26-27th Linlithgow Loch. Spring time tasks at a couple two local reserves.
Path clearance and woodland work. Accommodation beside the Union Canal.

August 30-31st Wiston Lodge
This old hunting lodge has wonderful grounds which need some action to restore the woodland and paths. Plenty of special places to explore. Camping (tents provided)

September 20-21st Yellowcraigs Country Park
Coastal work with the East Lothian rangers to manage the dunes and improve the woodland paths. This is a splendid stretch of coastline to explore.

October 11-12th Vogrie Country Park. Midlothian's finest country park with a huge range of different habitats and wildlife. We will be clearing out the ponds amongst other tasks. Accommodation within the park.

November 8-9th Wiston Lodge. More work around the grounds of this estate, creating new paths and removing derelict fences. Accommodation within the house with cosy open fires.
